Ivanchuk Wins Rapid Event
Monday, March 8, 2010 at 11:23AM The European Chess Championship is the big event of the moment - at least until the Amber Tournament sucks all the oxygen away starting at the end of this week - but there was a rapid event this past weekend that deserves a mention as well. The XI Torneio Aberto Internacional de Xadrez (that's the short name of the event) in Brazil was won by Vassily Ivanchuk and Sandro Mareco with 8/9, half a point ahead of Gilberto Milos (who beat Ivanchuk), Krikor Mekhitarian and Giovanni Vescovi.
I haven't looked for the games yet, but if I find any especially nice wins by Ivanchuk I may post them later.

TWIC didn't have any games, other than the aforementioned loss, so at least for now there's nothing to show!
The game Milos 1x0 Ivanchuk is on my blog http://rodrigodisconzi.blogspot.com/
and some photos
