Recently crowned US chess champion Gata Kamsky continues to have a successful 2010, bouncing back from a bumpy 2009. It wasn't a super-event, but the Baku Open wasn't weak, either. His score of 7.5/9 was good enough for clear first, half a point ahead of Emil Sutovsky (his erstwhile second!) and three others; there were 175 players in total.
