This Week's ChessVideos Show: Korchnoi's Win Over Caruana
Friday, January 28, 2011 at 1:26PM It's such a good story, so how could I resist turning it into a video? Have a look here to see my presentation of Viktor "the Terrible" Korchnoi's win over Fabiano Caruana from the ongoing tournament in Gibraltar. As always, the show is free (free registration is required) and will be available on-demand for the next month or so.

Very good video! I especially appreciated your comment about Viktor's curious knight-for-bishop trade, and how it opened up space for Black's other pieces. That's something I haven't been considering well enough in my own games.
Excellent video Dennis!!
Korchnoi is also one of my favourite players and I was lucky enough to get a copy of his "Chess is my life" for Christmas, which is one of the most fascinating books I've ever read.
I'm sure his attitude toward some of his opponents is, at least in part, down to psychology, rather than him actually being nasty for nastiness sake.
I hope my chess is still going strong when I'm his age, an absolute inspiration to all of us.
