Just to finish things up from the previous post, the games from Veselin Topalov's drawn simul against the Irish team can be found here (but still not on the event's live games page).

On to bigger and better things: the Karpov tournament in Poikovsky (Russia) started today, and with six 2700s in the field of ten it's very strong. (Further, at least 3 of the other 4 have been 2700, if recollection serves.) Here are the first round results:

Viktor Laznicka (2701) - Lazaro Bruzon (2682) 1-0

Fabiano Caruana (2712) - Dmitrij Jakovenko (2716) 1-0

Sergei Rublevsky (2681) - Zahar Efimenko (2703) 1/2-1/2

Etienne Bacrot (2705) - Alexander Motylev (2690) 1/2-1/2

Sergey Karjakin (2772) - Alexander Onischuk (2669) 1/2-1/2

Tournament site here (in Russian).
