Notre Dame Wins 20-13 in Overtime
Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 9:08PM You know what you call a close win? A win! Notre Dame and Stanford are similar teams: physical, excellent on defense with good running backs and young quarterbacks who are works in progress. Today, ND rose to the occasion and pulled out a squeaker with a goal-line stand in overtime.
The result: ND is 6-0, with six victims to go, not counting the win in the bowl game. (Next week's victim: BYU.)

You should have draws Dennis - like we do in the UK, for sport as well as chess.
[DM: For a long, long time a college football game that ended regulation time with an even score was declared a tie - even in bowl games. Overtime in college football is a fairly new occurrence.]
After reviewing the replay, I'd have to say ND clearly caught a break by getting a premature whistle. Still the officials are part of the game just, like a bump in the grass or the weather. So congratulations to ND and I hope they succeed in running the table.
