That was a pointless exercise. It's a pity there's no "resign" option in sports, as the game was 28-0 well before halftime, and the only significant possibility by that point was that an important player might get injured.

Notre Dame is now 11-0, with one victim to go (over the aptly-named Trojans, whose great football historiy includes cheating coaches and felonious football players) in the regular season and one to be named later in the inevitable bowl game.

No tune this week - it was too easy.

UPDATE: The two teams ranked above us both lost, so in the next rankings, coming out Sunday night, Notre Dame will be ranked #1. And that deserves celebratory music!
