What did I tell you! If the Notre Dame football team was a cat, it would have spent at least three of its nine lives surviving that game. Down 14 at the start of the fourth quarter and regularly shooting itself in the foot in that quarter and in overtime too, it put together enough good offense while holding very firm on defense to escape with a victory. If that doesn't teach them not to be overconfident, I have no idea what will!
So that's nine victims down, three to go, not counting the bowl game. Next week's victim: Boston College.
