In about five minutes, actually. This year's European Team Championship takes place in Reykjavik, Iceland; a nine-round event that runs through the 22nd of this month. Many 2700+ players are participating, including 15 today, but as there are no 2700 vs. 2700 pairings today some of the heaviest hitters (most notably Magnus Carlsen, but also Pavel Eljanov, Alexander Grischuk and others) are sitting out this round.
It should be a very entertaining event, and once it's done the next big tournament will be the London Chess Classic starting December 3.
