The U.S. Junior Closed Championship is, generally speaking, getting stronger all the time, and while several of our strongest players won't be participating (viz., GM Sam Sevian and IMs John Burke, Darwin Yang, and Daniel Gurevich) it's still a very strong field:
The round-robin tournament will take place at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis (of course), with play beginning on Friday (July 8) at 1 p.m. local time (= 2 p.m. ET).
