When Two Extra Queens Aren't Enough
Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 8:58PM
Have a look at this remarkable game, which I spotted in a recent issue of Chess Today. At one moment Black has two extra queens, which are compensated for by only a knight and three pawns. And yet, even with the move, Black has no sensible way to avoid a perpetual check. Chess is an amazing game!
