It's annoying that Komodo doesn't advertise their new releases, leaving it to suckers like me to do their dirty work for them. To me, it's a reason to tell everyone to get Stockfish, which is better and completely free. (Which you should do, for both of those reasons! And not just the "official" version, but the development builds, which are stronger and stronger and typically released several times a week - behold.) The reason - the ONLY reason - I'm mentioning the new Komodo release is for the sake of those, if any, who bought a one-year plan for Komodo and are entitled to the latest upgrade at no additional cost. For those who fall into that category, or those who are interested in Komodo for its own sake (it is a great engine too, after all, and has its distinctive pluses that aren't duplicated by Stockfish), here's the page for you.
