Notre Dame was supposed to whip up on Wake Forest this coming Saturday, but Notre Dame's last victim, South Florida, had players infected with COVID, and they passed it along to the Irish. Hopefully all the infected players (and those they were in contact with) will be okay, and it's less than maximally obvious that the season should continue for any team, if there's such a high likelihood that a team can test negatively on the day of the game and then spread it widely to the other team (as well as one's own team, and potentially the coaches, trainers, etc.). At any rate, the plan at this moment is for the game to be played on December 12.
