Recent Events: The European Online Chess Club Cup

Most of the world's absolute best were absent, but plenty of 2700s (including even Maxime Vachier-Lagrave) as well as a large number of "merely" strong and "ordinary" grandmasters participated in what is normally the European Club Cup. This time it was online and a rapid event, and whatever may have been lost in quality was more than made up for in quantity.

If there were games that caught your eye, please note them in the comments. I've browsed the games from the finals, and selected two for ChessLecture.com videos (to be published on the site in the not-too-distant future): Engel-Amin and Socko-Abasov. You can find all the raw data for the event, including the games, here. (The official website is less friendly-looking, but you're welcome to go there as well.)
