En Passant Examples: Help!
Over the years I've noticed that players have a blind spot when it comes to en passant. I don't mean, or don't just mean, that they miss en passant captures. That may be true as well. But what I have in mind is something more insidious. Players have a tendency to underestimate, disregard, or even completely overlook pawn moves when the pawn could be captured en passant, or could be captured in that way under normal circumstances.
(Have a look at an example, here.)
I've noticed a bunch of examples recently, but with the exception of the foregoing and one other one, didn't think to collect them - until now. Dear readers: if you can think of examples, I'd be grateful if you would pass them along. If I turn them into an article someday, I'll be happy to give credit, either collectively or, if permitted, on an example-by-example basis.
