This Week's ChessVideos Show: World Champion Follies
Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 10:33PM
I've played some lousy games in my life, and I bet you have too. We all have. But have you managed to lose a game in 15 moves or less? If not, then you have at least one thing over a surprisingly large number of world champions! In my show this week, I present 13 games where world champions managed to lose before move 16. In most cases they weren't yet world champion (but in three cases the victim was an incumbent champ), but in all the games they were already quite strong. Nevertheless, they went down to defeat as ignominiously as any of us would.
Have a look for yourself! The show is free, as always (free registration required) and will be available on-demand for the next month or so.

Great show, as always - many thanks
Cannot believe that Petrosian resigned though !....
Tom, Dennis could probably make many shows of strong players resigning in OK or even won positions.
