Kramnik On His London Tournament
Friday, December 21, 2012 at 12:52AM
While he didn't win the 2012 London Chess Classic, Vladimir Kramnik had an excellent tournament, going +4, taking clear second and moving back into second on the rating list. In this video interview, he discusses his performance, Magnus Carlsen and his chances in the upcoming Candidates matches. Worth a few minutes of your time.

Dennis, can I highlight the following article:

Anand was named Indian sportsman of the year for his world title defence. The interview reminds us that we are indeed fortunate to have him as the world champion. He's all class talking chess to the Indian public. A real gentleman, for whom no one has anything negative to say about him.
Given the might of carlsen I'm sue it won't be too long before Anand loses his crown. But lets enjoy him while we can as we'll miss him when he's gone.
Indeed the Kramnik interview was worthwhile to listen to. Hard to believe this young-looking guy was 12 years younger when he immured GK!
Offtopic, but do look at Gupta-Wojtaszeck in the AAI Tournament, great fun!
Jai, that was a fun game, thanks for pointing it out.
He may not have won the event, but Kramnik was easily the most impressive player at London in my view.
